Our Philosophy
Morris County has multiple facilities near Boonton, Boonton Township, Denville, Mountain Lakes Parsippany, and Rockaway that focus on the education of the Arts. However, Soul Search Records is the only facility that believes on customized education that adapts to the learning style of the student. At Soul Search Records, we take an individualized approach to music education. We go to great lengths to find the right teacher for each student. Our school aims to meet the needs of beginners, intermediate and advanced musician. We set out from the very beginning to take a different approach to music, not just a better one. In the process we have developed a highly specialized curriculum that allows for personal growth and musical goal achievement.
Motivation is the central component of our system. Let’s face it, if you are not motivated to work on a task the results are never as good as if you are inspired. To aid our students to get inspired we allow them to perform the songs that they want to learn, meanwhile developing music techniques. When a student goes to learn a song that inspires them we make sure to teach and show key aspects of the song that they can implement in activities, projects and other songs. Before you know it a student goes from being able to hit a couple of notes, to being able to jam with friends, to perform in concerts, and some choose a career in music.

Our relaxing studios and professional staff will always make sure that the environment is a perfect place to learn, grow, and achieve a student’s goals.

- Music Theory (the ability to recognize notes on a staff and the ground work for composing original music).
- Feel (How to give emotion to a song and not sound robotic).
